Brute Force EVOII: Day 1 in Review

Brute Force EVOII Free Trial

Peter Drew’s Brute Force EVOII is the latest in a series of SEO related tools that he offers.  I first became aware of Peter’s tools when he began offering his Linking Loophole software ($40/month).  The tool automatically created backlinks by creating user profiles on popular sites.  These profiles included DO FOLLOW links with anchor text.

The impressive thing about the software was its ability to solve CAPTCHAs.  There have even been a few that the software has solved correctly that I could barely read.

Peter has incorporated this CAPTCHA solving feature into his latest all-in-one SEO tool called EVOII.  And the tool was released yesterday on a free 7 day trial basis.

Day 1: Creation of Static Accounts

The tool builds lots and lots of backlinks. EVOII creates these backlinks using a combination of static accounts (which can house multiple backlinks to multiple sites) and new, throwaway accounts on other sites (which can only house a few backlinks at most). So step 1 is to create the Static Accounts that you will use over and over again in your backlink campaigns.

Static account creation includes RSS feed/promotion sites, Article Directories, Social Bookmarking, and Video sites (like YouTube). These sites, like the RSS feed promotion sites, allow you to promote multiple feeds over time so you don’t need a bunch of these static accounts.  In fact, you really only need 1 set of these accounts.  I’ve decided to build more to make it easier for me to stay organized.

In the accompanying documentation, Peter suggests that anyone offering SEO services might want to create a new set of static accounts for each SEO client. I took this a step further and decided that I would like a set of static accounts for a couple of websites I own and a couple I was hoping build and leverage this tool. So I created 4 sets of static accounts.

The static account creation starts with a Yahoo or Gmail account creation. If you attempt to create too many of these accounts too quickly then you will be temporarily banned by Yahoo or Gmail. Keep this in mind. However, 4 accounts spread out over several hours should not be a problem so I created 4 static account sets.

As I’ve said before, EVOII solves CAPTCHAs when creating these static accounts. It also answers the confirmation emails. (Answering these confirmation emails is the most time consuming part of using the Linking Loophole software that I love so much.)

The Bad…

The bad part of this software is that while it solves CAPTCHA it doesn’t (IMHO) solve them as well as the Linking Loophole software does. I still have to answer several of the CAPTCHAs (out of 41). The exact number of is different with each run.

Also, several of the sites don’t take with each run (my last 2 runs had 9, out of 41, that didn’t take). The sites change each time but there are always several sites that, for whatever reason, don’t take. Add to this that when EVOII answers the confirmation emails it doesn’t always wait long enough (and thus the confirmation email for some sites don’t get confirmed) and you get a list of static sites where a significant chunk of the sites won’t ever let you post a backlink.

The Good…

The software will do almost everything for you. You provide about 5 minutes worth of inputs and hit go. The software does the rest. If you don’t mind letting it tie up your computers for a while you don’t need to babysit it – it will patiently wait for you to return when it can’t solve a CAPTCHA. And it is smart enough to skip sites that are down, slow, or having problems. (So you can’t blame all 9 sites that didn’t in my runs on EVOII, some of those sites may be having issues.)

Don’t let me talk you out of it…

So far I’ve spent more time on the negative aspects than the positive.  This is really because I had hoped this tool would work flawlessly.  Unfortunately that just isn’t possible on the internet.  Too many sites do too many things to tweak their site, the input forms, the CAPTCHAs, etc. for any 1 piece of software to work flawlessly.

I’ve tried directory submitters from several different companies, including Brad Callen, as well as other tools  such as Mass Article Control, Mass Article Creator, and SE Nuke.  I haven’t liked any them because they all have the same problem – manual account creation and a hit or miss ability to actually submit the content and backlinks with little if any reporting about which items were successful and which failed.

EVOII is, by far, the best tool I’ve used to date.  But I’m not done testing it out yet…
