Free Google AdWords Quality Score Tool
Here is a beta version of my free Google AdWords tool. This free tool has the following features:
- Step #1: Enter Campaign Name, prefixes, seed keywords, and postfixes (I find this very useful for PPC Geo Location)
- Step #2: Define Maximum Cost-Per-Click (CPC) for Broad, Phrase, and Exact Matches
- Step #3: Define 2 sets of Ad Copy (i.e., 2 sets of Headlines, Description Line #1’s, Description Line #2’s, Display URLs, and Destination URLs)
The end result of this tool is that you have 1 Ad Group per Keyword improving your Quality Score and lowering your CPC for each keyword. You still have to optimize your landing page but this is a great first step.
The current beta version asks for your first name, last name, and email address. Currently the beta version of the Free Google AdWords Quality Score Tool sends you to a page with a simple link to your ad results. In the future it will email you a link or text files with the results.
In case you don’t see the value in this Free Google AdWords Quality Score Tool consider the following aspects of Google Quality Score calculation:
- Unique Ad Group and Ad for each keyword
- Keyword relevance in Ad Copy, Ad Group, Display & Destination URLs and the Landing Page
The keyword uniqueness/relevance of Ad Groups and Ad Copy translates to having the user’s search term – at least some part of it – in your Ad Copy and Ad Groups. The Free Google AdWords Quality Score Tool will get a better name at some point and allows you to create ads where you can replace a token with your keywords allowing for each ad and ad group to be unique and relevant without manually writing doing so for each keyword. You can accomplish something similar using Google’s dynamic keyword insertion but it won’t improve your quality score.
